Unlocking the final exam

The two conditions you must meet before the final exam opens.

The final exam stays locked until you’ve genuinely completed the course. Two conditions must both be met:

  1. Watch ≥ 90% of every lesson. There’s no skipping — each individual lesson needs at least 90% of its content covered. One unwatched lesson keeps the exam locked.
  2. Reach the course’s required minutes. Some courses set a minimum total of content-minutes you must accrue; your dashboard shows that target and your progress toward it (many courses have no extra floor beyond the 90% rule).

How to tell what’s left

Open the course from your dashboard. Each lesson shows its progress, so you can see which ones still need watching. Work through anything below 90% and the exam will unlock on its own — there’s no button to press.

Why it’s strict

This mirrors the state’s no-skip, content-based requirement. It protects the value of your certificate: everyone who holds one has actually completed the training.

Note: Credit hours on your certificate are set by the course and may differ from the video length (for example, when credit includes off-video practice). The exam gate is about content watched; the certificate figure is separate.

Stuck below 90% on a lesson you’ve watched? Contact support with the course and lesson name and we’ll look into it.
