This policy describes how Talisman Health Enterprise Management, LLC (“ChiroSmarts,” “we”) collects, uses, and shares information through ChiroSmarts.com.

1. Information We Collect

Account and profile: full legal name, email address, optional phone number, birth month (used to track your state renewal date), clinic name, supervising doctor’s name and email (if you provide them), and your marketing preferences.

Course and compliance records: enrollments and purchases; video playback events (which portions you watched, when, for how long, and at what playback speed); quiz and examination attempts, answers, and scores; certificates issued, including their verification codes; documents you upload (such as signed hands-on training logs); and download activity for course resources.

AI study assistant: the questions you submit and the answers returned. These are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses.

Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive transaction confirmations and the last digits/brand of your card, but never your full card number.

Technical: session cookies necessary for login, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and operation of the Service. We do not use advertising trackers.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to: provide and operate the Service (deliver courses, track completion, issue certificates); maintain the permanent audit record that gives your certificates their value — regulatory boards may audit continuing-education records, and our ability to evidence your completion protects your credential; send transactional email (login links, receipts, certificates, and renewal-deadline reminders tied to your birth month); send marketing email such as newsletters only if you have opted in, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link or your account settings; respond to support requests; and protect the Service against fraud and abuse.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

Service providers: Cloudflare (hosting, database, video delivery, file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Brevo (marketing email, for opted-in contacts only), and Anthropic (AI assistant responses). Each receives only what its function requires.

Your clinic, if it sponsors your training: if you claim a course seat purchased by a clinic, that clinic’s administrators can see your name, the sponsored course(s), your enrollment and completion status, and resulting certificates. Clinic administrators do not see your quiz answers, your activity in courses you purchased personally, or your AI assistant conversations.

Certificate verification: anyone who has a certificate’s verification code can confirm the certificate’s validity, the holder’s name, the course title, credit hours, and completion date through our public verification page. This is how employers and boards confirm your credential.

Regulators and legal process: we may disclose records to a licensing board conducting an audit involving your course completion, or where required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.

Business transfers: if ChiroSmarts is acquired or merged, records transfer to the successor under this policy’s commitments.

4. Retention

Compliance records — course activity, examination results, certificates, and uploaded training documents — are retained indefinitely. This is deliberate: your certificate is only as good as the records behind it, and boards may audit years after completion. Account profile information is retained while your account exists. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or your account is deleted. Server logs are retained for a limited operational period.

5. Your Choices and Rights

You may access and correct your profile information in your account, download your certificates at any time, and opt out of marketing email at any time (transactional email, such as login links and renewal reminders, is part of the Service). You may request deletion of your account by contacting contact@chirosmarts.com; we will delete profile and marketing data, but compliance records are retained as described above, dissociated from marketing use. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, and portability under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, where applicable); requests go to contact@chirosmarts.com and we will respond as the law requires, including an appeal process where mandated.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (TLS), passwordless single-use login links, access-controlled storage, and payment handling that keeps card data with our payment processor. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

7. Children

The Service is intended for adults 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes and Contact
