Renewal and your birth month
When your annual CE is due and how renewal works.
Once you’re a certified CA, you keep your certification current with annual continuing education (CE).
When it’s due
Your renewal is due on the last day of your birth month, and each year requires 6 hours of continuing education (including 1 hour of cultural competency and 2 hours of vitals training). The platform shows your renewal timing on your dashboard so you’re never guessing.
How to renew
- From the catalog, enroll in the renewal course.
- Complete it the same way as any course — watch the lessons, meet seat time, pass the quiz.
- Your renewal certificate is issued and emailed automatically.
